Kamil Tolon

Kamil Tolon (born February 29, 1912 in Constantinople , † July 23, 1978 in Switzerland ) was a Turkish businessman and industrialist.

Career

When he graduated from the university in 1935, he became a PTT inspector. He then opened a business with Fahri Batıca. In this shop, the first washing machine in Turkey was made. After that, his classmate Adnan Menderes suggested to Kamil Tolon to make an electric motor . He later built the first electric motor in Turkey.
