The Kammerersmühle (other names: Burkhartmühle, Kammerer's Mühle, crooked house) is a building on the northeastern edge of the old town on the Wiesent River in Forchheim , Upper Franconia , Bavaria .

The building

It was built in 1698 and was a water mill until 1910 . Today there is a restaurant ("Kammerer's Mühle Weinlokal - Restaurant") with a garden on the ground floor .

The entire building is steeply inclined towards the course of the river (crooked).

Monument protection

As a single structure, the half-timbered house is a monument .

The description reads:

"Wiesentstrasse 10. Former Mill, so-called Burkhart or Kammerermühle, two-story saddle-roof house, ornamental half-timbered upper floor above sandstone ashlar ground floor, re. 1698. re-qualified. "
