The Kamp-Thaya-March cycle route is a 421.2 kilometer long cycle path in the Waldviertel and Weinviertel in Lower Austria . It leads from Krems through the Kamptal and the middle Waldviertel to Zwettl and Raabs an der Thaya on through the Weinviertel via Retz , Laa an der Thaya and Hohenau to Marchegg .

The Kamp-Thaya-March cycle route runs partly on its own, partly on state and municipal roads and is mostly paved. Between its starting point and Rosenburg it runs relatively flat along the Kamp , while it leads over hilly terrain in the central Waldviertel and in the northwestern Weinviertel. A total of around 2000 meters of altitude has to be overcome on this section of the route. The last section, which leads through the Marchfeld in the southeastern Weinviertel, is flat again. The cycle route is signposted in both directions and is of medium difficulty.

From its starting point in Krems, the Kamp-Thaya-March cycle route leads to the wine town of Langenlois and from there on the route of the Kamptalweg along the Kamp and the Kamptalbahn via Gars am Kamp to Rosenburg . Here it leaves the Kamptal and leads via Altenburg and Rastenfeld to the district towns of Zwettl and Waidhofen an der Thaya and on to Raabs an der Thaya, where it reaches the Weinviertel via the Thayatal . Via the wine-growing towns of Retz and Laa an der Thaya , it leads along the state border with the Czech Republic to Hohenau along the Slovak border to its destination Marchegg.
