The Canada Glacier is a small glacier in Victoria Land in southern Antarctica . It is located at 77 ° 37 ' south latitude and 162 ° 59' east longitude . The glacier begins below the summit of Mount McLennan in the Asgard Range , where the Commonwealth and Loftus glaciers also begin, at around 1900 meters. Coming from the northwest, it then flows west of Lake Fryxell into the Taylor Valley , where it ends just a few meters above sea level . It forms the eastern border of the small Hoare lake .

The Canada Glacier was mapped by the British Terra Nova Expedition under Sir Robert Falcon Scott (1910-1913) . The name comes from the Canadian physicist Charles Wright , who was a member of the group that explored the area.
