Kanal 2 is a private television broadcaster in Estonia based in Tallinn . The station began broadcasting on October 1, 1993. It is one of the three television companies in Estonia. The Norwegian media company Schibsted ASA has been a major shareholder in Kanal 2 since 1995 and has owned almost all of the shares since 2001.

Channel 2's own productions are, for example, the news program Reporter , the dance show Tantsud Tahtedega , the cooking show Köögist kööki or the casting talent show Talendijaht .

External production

The majority of channel 2 consists of third-party productions.
