The canton of Huancané is an administrative district in the La Paz department in the South American Andean state of Bolivia .

Location in the vicinity

The canton of Huancané is one of seven cantons of the district ( Bolivian : Municipio ) Municipio Batallas in the province of Los Andes and is located in the central western part of the district. It borders in the north on the municipality Huarina , in the northwest on Lake Titicaca , in the west on the municipality Puerto Pérez , in the south and southeast on the canton Batallas , and in the northeast on the canton Karhuisa .
