Los Andes ( Spanish for: "The Andes" ) is one of twenty provinces of the La Paz department in the South American Andean state of Bolivia and is located in the central part of the department.

location

The province is located on the southeastern edge of Lake Titicaca and borders in the northwest on the province of Omasuyos , in the south on the province of Ingavi , in the east on the province of Murillo , and in the north on the province of Larecaja .

The province extends between about 16 ° 00 'and 16 ° 47' south latitude and 68 ° 08 'and 68 ° 45' west longitude, it measures 90 kilometers from north to south and 75 kilometers from west to east.
