Vilaque Pampajasi (also: Vilaque Pampahasi ) is a scattered settlement in the La Paz department in the South American Andean state of Bolivia .
Location in the vicinity
Vilaque Pampajasi is the second most populous town in the Canton Villa Vilaque in the district ( Bolivian : Municipio ) Pucarani in the province of Los Andes , the center of the village lies at an altitude of 4045 m at the confluence of two mountain streams Río Sorechata and Río Pampasi , a few kilometers northwest of the outskirts of La Paz .

Vilaque Pampajasi is located on the edge of the Bolivian plateau between the Andes mountain ranges of the Cordillera Occidental in the west and the Cordillera Central in the east. Due to the historical population development, the region has a high proportion of Aymara population, in the municipality of Pucarani 96.7 percent of the population speak the Aymara language .
