The canton of Tours-Val-du-Cher was by 2015 a French canton in the Arrondissement Tours in Indre-et-Loire in the region of Center-Val de Loire . Gérard Gernot was the last representative in the General Council of the Département from 2001 to 2015, re-elected in 2008.
The canton consisted of part of the city of Tours and had a total of 20,203 inhabitants. The total population of Tours in 2005 was 136,400.
