Cape Greenland [sic!] Is the northern cape of Anvers Island in the Palmer Archipelago off the west coast of the Antarctic Peninsula .
Participants in the Antarctic expedition (1873–1874) led by the German polar explorer Eduard Dallmann discovered the Cape. Dallmann named it after the ship on the research trip, the auxiliary sailor Groenland . It was later mapped during the Fourth French Antarctic Expedition (1903-1905) under the direction of polar explorer Jean-Baptiste Charcot .
