Cape Garnet ( Russian Мыс Гранат Mys Granat ) is a cape on the coast of the East Antarctic Enderbyland . In the western part of the Thala Hills it is 1.1 km northeast of the Molodjoschnaja station on the banks of the Alasheev Bay .
The cape was named by scientists from a Soviet Antarctic expedition carried out from 1961 to 1962 .
