Cape Muray ( French Cap Murray ) is the cape at the western end of the Murray Island , which lies off the Danco coast in the west of Graham Land on the Antarctic Peninsula .

It was discovered during the Belgica expedition (1897-1899) led by the Belgian polar explorer Adrien de Gerlache de Gomery , who mistakenly believed it to be part of the coast of Graham Land and named it after the British marine zoologist and oceanographer John Murray (1841-1914 ), a strong proponent of research in Antarctica.
