Cape Rouse is an icy cape on the Mawson Coast of the East Antarctic Mac Robertson Land . It protrudes into the Cooperative Sea 13 km east of the Murray Monolith .
Participants of the British Australian and New Zealand Antarctic Research Expedition (1929-1931) under the direction of the Australian polar explorer Douglas Mawson discovered it on February 12, 1931. Mawson named the cape after Edgar John Rouse (1894-1974), manager at the Australian branch from Kodak in Melbourne , who helped equip the expedition with photographic equipment.
