The Cape Salvesen ( Spanish Cabo Salvesen ) is a cape on the Danco coast of Graham Land on the Antarctic Peninsula . It is on the south bank of Salvesen Cove , a side bay of Hughes Bay .
Argentine scientists named it after the name of the bay of the same name. It is named after the whaling company Salvesen & Co., founded in 1872 by the Norwegian Christian Salvesen in Leith , Scotland .
