The Hof Flerke chapel is a listed church building at Am Hof ​​Flerke 1 in Werl in the Soest district ( North Rhine-Westphalia ).

History and architecture

On the edge of the end of the 13th century was first mentioned, partly umgräfteten courtyard which is brick chapel with three sided closed choir . The roof is crowned with a ridge turret. The portal lintel is marked 1852.

Furnishing

  • Two wings of a carved altar from around 1500, mounted one above the other, are framed in Baroque style with columns and volutes . The wings may come from the provost church in Werl. The reliefs with scenes of the Passion of Christ are covered with veils, on the back there are painted scenes from the life of Our Lady.
  • Two wooden holy figures that belonged to it are kept in a different location.
  • On the west wall there is a carved house altar from the second half of the 17th century. The corresponding figure is a replica of the Werler miraculous image .
  • A baroque Maria on a crescent moon
  • The expressive Pietà , marked 1745, has also been outsourced.
