Capital No. 1 (Bommes)

The capital No. 1 on the outer wall of the rectory of the parish of St-Martin in Bommes , a French parish in the Gironde department of the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region , was created in the 12th century. In 1903, the Romanesque capital was added to the list of architectural monuments in France as Monument historique .

The capital depicts two birds facing each other, surrounded by plant ornaments.
