The Kapos is a river in the southwestern part of Hungary .
course
The source of the river is in the Kiskorpád municipality in the Kadarkút suburb in Somogy County . It initially runs in an easterly direction through Kaposvár to Dombóvár . There the course changes to the northeast in the direction of Pincehely and not far from there it flows into the Sió River . Thus it is located in three counties of Hungary: Somogy county, Baranya county and Tolna county . The river has a length of approximately 113 kilometers.
Tributaries
The tributaries include: Koppány , Deseda, Orci and the Baranya Canal.
