The Kappelbach is a left tributary of the Zorge in Thuringia in Germany. The Kappelbach is a second order body of water, maintenance is the responsibility of the Harzvorland water maintenance association.
course
The Kappelbach, also known as Hardtbach , especially in Neustadt , rises north of Neustadt in the Südharz Nature Park . It flows mainly in a westerly to southwest direction. The first community on the course of the stream is Neustadt. On the outskirts of the district it touches the campsite at the forest pool and the forest pool . These places are a well-known recreational area. After flowing through Neustadt, it touches Harzungen and flows along some ruins of the former Harzungen satellite camp . After about ten kilometers it joins the Zorge in Nordhausen.
