Karahayıt is a small town in Denizli district in the Turkish province of the same name . Karahayıt is located about 28 km north of the provincial capital Denizli. According to the last census, Karahayıt had 1,022 inhabitants (as of December 2010).

The administrative area of ​​Karahayıt is divided into two districts , Beyazıt Mahallesi and Fatih Mahallesi , each of which is administered by a Muhtar .

Deposits

Karahayıt is known for the Red Spring ( Turkish: Kırmızı su ), whose iron-rich water covers some rock areas with reddish deposits and is said to have healing effects. The area of ​​the facility in which the Red Spring is located is around 500 square meters. The temperature of the thermal water poured out is approx. 60 ° C. The red spring is also shown in the town's coat of arms.
