Karapınar is a village about six kilometers north of Polatlı on European route 90 in the province of Ankara . Karapinar had around 451 inhabitants in 2012.
The village, founded in 1880, consists of 108 households, several small shops, a primary school and a mosque. The economy is based on agriculture and animal husbandry.
