Karin Bencze , née Kappach , (born May 18, 1952 in Bad Lauchstädt ) is a former German politician and manager of the Brandenburg Chamber of Notaries . In 1990 she represented the DFD as the only member of the People's Chamber . From the end of August until the Volkskammer was dissolved, she was a member of the FDP parliamentary group.

Life

Karin Bencze first visited a POS and EOS in Merseburg . However, she did her Abitur with vocational training as a mason. Then in 1970 she got a place at the Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg in Halle (Saale) , where she started studying law. Bencze graduated in 1974 as a lawyer .

She then took up a job at VEB Road, Bridge and Civil Engineering Combine in Halle, then at VEB Kreisbaubetrieb Merseburg, later at VEB Technische Gebäudeinstallation Halle and finally at VEB Gebäudewirtschaft Merseburg as a legal advisor, where she remained until 1990. In 1990 she worked as a lawyer and notary in Berlin. In 1991 she moved to Potsdam, where from 1991 she set up the office of the Brandenburg Chamber of Notaries, which she managed as managing director.

Karin Bencze is married and has three children.

In 1971 Karin Bencze joined the DFD. For the Volkskammer elections of March 18, 1990 , she was set up for the DFD in constituency 07 (Halle). The DFD, only run in 11 out of 15 constituencies, received 0.3% of the vote. However, this result was enough for a member of parliament. With 5295 votes (0.4%) Karin Bencze achieved exactly 28 votes more than the candidate in constituency 03 (Dresden). She moved into the People's Chamber. There the DFD formed a parliamentary group together with the DBD , Karin Bencze became their deputy parliamentary group leader. She was also elected Vice-Chair of the Committee on Family and Women. In the course of the dissolution of the DBD at the end of August 1990, the DBD / DFD faction also disintegrated. Bencze then went to the FDP parliamentary group as a guest. After the Volkskammer was dissolved , she devoted herself to her professional career.
