Karin Ferrari

Karin Ferrari (* 1982 in Meran ) is a South Tyrolean media artist .

life and work

Karin Ferrari lives and works in Paris , Vienna and Rum . She studied at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna , which she graduated with honors in 2008.

Using images from popular and everyday culture, she examines subcultures of the Internet. Her artistic work deals with conspiracy theories , the fake news phenomenon, esoteric utopias and related topics. She works with speculative narratives , video and collages . Your work is exhibited in art institutions and published on the Internet.

Since 2011 she has been working on DECODING (THE WHOLE TRUTH) , a series of experimental documentaries that are published on Ferrari's YouTube channel TR4SH M4GIC TV and shown in exhibitions in museums, art centers and galleries.
