Karin Jäger (born July 31, 1961 in Korbach ) is a former German cross-country skier . At the 1980 Winter Olympics in Lake Placid , 26th place over 10 km was her best result. At the Nordic World Ski Championships in 1982 , she reached tenth place over 20 km classic. Her best result at the 1984 Winter Olympics in Sarajevo was 19th place over 20 km. In the 1981/82 season she finished eighth in the overall World Cup ranking, while she reached third place over 10 km in Štrbské Pleso and thus her best World Cup race. At the 1988 Winter Olympics in Calgary , she came over 20 km on 35th place and with the relay on 11th place.
