Karina Bell , born in Karen Gudrun Louise Hansen , (born September 26, 1898 in Hellerup , Denmark ; † June 5, 1979 in Helsingør , Denmark) was a Danish stage and film actress with a short career in late German silent film.

Karen Hansen began her artistic career as a ballet dancer and was trained professionally by Emma Gad, who also gave her the stage name Karina Bell. In 1919, the young blonde mime made her stage debut with Tornerose in the play of the same name at the Det nye Teater. In the same year she was discovered for the film and made her debut in the fourth episode of Carl Theodor Dreyer's debut film Leaves from the Book of Satan , which is considered by the critics to be the weakest of the otherwise very favorably reviewed film.

Karina Bell shot a number of productions over the next ten years, which she also made internationally known. She played Dora Spenlow in AW Sandberg's highly acclaimed 1922 film adaptation of David Copperfield , and two years later the title heroine Klein Dorrit , another acclaimed Dickens film adaptation by Sandberg, her first husband. Her husband made possible another big-screen hit with Daisy Bunding in 1926 in the remake of a ten-year-old circus drama, The Dancing Gate . The couple then moved to Germany for a short time in 1927, where Sandberg played the central role of Desiree in the Daudet adaptation of the marriage scandal at Fromont jr. and Risler sr. considered. Two other German productions followed, including Sandberg's remake of a classic Danish silent film, Revolution Wedding , in which Karina Bell took on the female lead role of Leontine.

Back at home in Copenhagen, Karina Bell was still in front of the camera for two sound films in 1933, which, however, received no response outside of Denmark. In 1934 Karina Bell married the brewery owner Knud Parkov (1894–1949), who was four years her senior. After his death in January 1949, Karen Parkov took over the management of his Wiibroes brewery.
