Karl-Christoph Kuhn

Karl-Christoph Kuhn (born October 29, 1953 in Ellwangen / Jagst ) is a German Roman Catholic theologian from the Tübingen ethics school of Alfons Auer . He is an adjunct professor at the Chair of Canon Law at the University of Tübingen .

Life

Karl-Christoph Kuhn was the second of six children to be born by Anneliese Kuhn. Salenbauch and the district chimney master Hermann Kuhn. After graduating from high school in 1973 at the Jesuit College in St. Blasien , he did his military service as a temporary soldier from 1973 to 1975 . From 1975 to 1980 he studied Catholic theology in Tübingen and Rome . In 1980 he obtained his theology diploma with a focus on ethics in Tübingen. He wrote his diploma thesis on “The legitimation of basic values” with Alfons Auer .

From 1978 he was a research assistant , from 1980 to 1985 research assistant at the canon law chair of Richard Puza in the Catholic theological faculty of the University of Tübingen . Accompanying he was from 1983 to 1987 as a lawyer at the ecclesiastical tribunal ( Offizialat ) of the Diocese of Rottenburg-Stuttgart operates. In 1989 he received his doctorate there in canon law with the thesis "Church Order" as a draft of an ecumenical legal ethics reform model for Dr. theol. In the same year his habilitation thesis (on basic questions of church jurisprudence) was completed, which ended in 1990 in the school dispute with the withdrawal of the habilitation thesis.

From 1992 to 2005 he worked as a lecturer at Ulm University . From 1992 to 1997 he was a lecturer in philosophy / ethics at the Humboldt Study Center and from 1994 to 2005 lecturer at the Center for General Scientific Further Education. From 1992 to 2000 he founded and directed the seminars “Rhetoric Diamond” as a new model of leadership through holistic, realistic language responsibility in the Studium Generale .

From 1974 he developed and practiced so-called self-healing retreats ("logethopathy"). Since 1992 he has worked on this healing method philosophically and medically. From 1999 to 2001 he developed and headed the general medical research area “ Salutogenesis and communicative responsibility” at the University of Ulm on behalf of the head of the general medicine department, Hans-Peter Zeitler . As a chair coach and lecturer, Kuhn also developed the new compulsory elective modules “Language and Speech Responsibility” and “Body Language in Medicine”. He contributed the concept of “anamnesis logethopathy” to the further development of the paradigm of the new “salutogenesis” perspective in medicine.

From 1996 to 2002 he was an MBA seminar leader in the field of "Personality and Leadership" at the Steinbeis Academy for Corporate Management in Herrenberg (since 1999 Steinbeis University Berlin ), as well as a member of the teaching staff of the MBA course at the co-opted Danube University Krems .

In 2002, a private scholarship enabled him to continue his habilitation path, which he successfully completed in January 2006. Kuhn has been an adjunct professor at the Catholic theological faculty at the University of Tübingen since December 2008 . There he works with the teaching and research focus on canon law ethics, leadership ethics and healing ethics.
