Karl-Heinz Warnholz (born April 24, 1944 in Geesthacht ) is a Hamburg CDU politician .

Life and politics

Karl-Heinz Warnholz is a trained construction technician and joined the Bundeswehr as a professional soldier in 1964 . In 1994 he finished his work there and in the same year started managing his real estate company , which he continues to this day.

Karl-Heinz Warnholz is chairman of the CDU in the Hamburg-Rahlstedt local association and a member of the state executive in the Hanseatic city. From 1986 to 1997 he was a member of the Wandsbek district assembly .

Since spring 2008 he has been the deputy district chairman of the CDU in the Hamburg-Wandsbek district association. Since October 8, 1997 he has been an elected member of the Hamburg Parliament . There he is a member of the parliamentary committee of the CDU citizenship parliamentary group and for his parliamentary group as a simple member of the environmental committee and as chairman of the interior committee. He is also active in the control bodies for the protection of the constitution, housing surveillance and the secrecy of letters, mail and telecommunications. He is a specialist for internal affairs. His focus in this area are the Bundeswehr , Federal Police (formerly BGS ), Customs and Technical Relief Organization (THW).

In 2001, Warnholz opposed the sale of Rote Flora . On the night of April 26-27, 2001, his home was attacked with stones. His home was again attacked in May 2007 and July 2009. He did not run again for the 2020 general election.
