Karl Alber (soccer player)
Karl Alber (born September 17, 1948 ) is a former German soccer player.
Career
Alber switched from Spvgg Frankenbach to VfR Heilbronn for the 1967/68 season when he was young . The following year he was in the in the first amateur league over playing first team, the same year with significant participation by Karl Alber, move up to the time as a second license class players under the Bundesliga existing Regionalliga Süd managed. In the 1973/74 season he moved together with Reinhold Scherpp to Eintracht Bad Kreuznach , with whom he rose to the 2nd Bundesliga in 1975 .
Karl Alber was mayor of Erlenbach from 1986 to 2010 and is now retired.
