Karl Alpiger (born April 27, 1961 in Wildhaus ) is a former Swiss ski racer .

In his career, the Toggenburger won five world cup races in the downhill . At the World Championships in 1987 in Crans-Montana and in 1989 in Vail , he won the bronze medal in the downhill. After the end of his career, he worked, among other things, as a television commentator for Eurosport . Today he owns two sports shops in Wildhaus and Alt St. Johann and the "Wild House" bar in Wildhaus .
