Karl Boehler

Karl Böhler (born December 22, 1902 in Bankholzen ; † March 3, 1959 in Konstanz ) was a German politician .

The Catholic Karl Böhler was born on December 22nd, 1902 in Bankholzen. After the elementary school had attended, he learned in the school of agriculture Radolfzell the profession of farmer and worked in his parents' farm. After getting married in 1933, he took over the farm. In 1945 Böhler became mayor of Bankholzen and in 1946/47 took up political activities in the parliamentary group of the Baden Christian Social People's Party (BCSV) in the advisory board of the Baden Regional Advisory Assembly . After the incorporation of the BCSV into the Christian Democratic Union of Germany (CDU), Böhler continued to be politically active for this party. From 1947 until the state of Baden-Württemberg was founded in 1952, he was a member of the Baden state parliament in the first (extended) legislative period of his party. Böhler died on March 3, 1959 in Konstanz.
