Karl Becker (engineer)

Karl Becker (born June 20, 1896 in Prague , Austria-Hungary , † after 1935) was a German engineer . He was mainly due to his internationally published publication Hartmetallwerkzeuge. Mode of action, treatment, construction and application known.

Life

He was the son of the Prague manufacturer Karl Becker and his wife Emma nee Baumann. After attending secondary school and the Technical University in Prague, he worked at the Kaiser Wilhelm Institute for Fiber Chemistry of the Kaiser Wilhelm Society in Berlin-Dahlem . Karl Becker received his doctorate in engineering from the Technical University of Dresden . He switched to the study society for electrical lighting of the Osram group in Berlin. From 1932 he worked as a consulting engineer.

He was a member of the German Chemical Society and lived in Berlin-Lichterfelde -Ost, Ruthenerweg 29.
