Karl Brüggemann

Karl Brüggemann (born January 24, 1896 in Oeventrop ; † March 11, 1977 ) was a German local politician and honorary district administrator ( CDU ).

Life and work

After attending school, he completed a teacher training course and worked in school until 1959, most recently as rector . He was married and had two children.

He was a member of the district council of the former Arnsberg district from November 9, 1952 until the regional reform on December 31, 1974. From April 6, 1961 to November 27, 1969 he was district administrator of the Arnsberg district. He also served from 1927 to 1945 a member of the municipal council of the municipality Oeventrop. Brüggemann was represented in various committees of the district council of North Rhine-Westphalia .

In 1964 he received the Federal Cross of Merit, 1st class .
