Karl Casper

Karl Casper (born February 22, 1893 , † August 25, 1970 ) was a German lieutenant general in World War II . On September 22, 1941, he was awarded the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross as a colonel and commander of the 118 Infantry Regiment . Casper also commanded the 335th Infantry Division and the 48th Infantry Division during the war .
