Karl Christian Schmid

Karl Christian Schmid (born May 17, 1787 in Urach , † August 16, 1852 in Cannstatt ) was a Württemberg governor .

Life

Karl Christian Schmid was the son of a town clerk from Urach. After completing his training, from 1816 onwards he worked as an accountant for the municipal administration section in Stuttgart. In 1817 he became auditor at the government of the Neckar District in Ludwigsburg and in the same year chief auditor at the Ministry of the Interior in Stuttgart. From 1823 to 1839 he headed the Oberamt Backnang and from 1839 to 1850 the Oberamt Göppingen . Schmid retired in 1850.
