Karl Custodis

Karl Custodis (born July 16, 1844 in Solingen ; † June 3, 1925 in Bonn ) was a lawyer and member of the German Reichstag .

Life

Custodis attended private school and high school in Cologne and studied law at the universities of Heidelberg and Bonn. In 1866 he became an auscultator and in 1868 a trainee lawyer. In 1872 he passed the state examination and settled as a lawyer in Cologne. He took part in the war against France in 1870/71 as a reserve officer and was awarded the Iron Cross, 2nd class .

From 1881 to 1884 he was a member of the German Reichstag for the constituency of Cologne-Stadt and the German Center Party .
