Karl Czok (politician)

Karl Czok (born December 22, 1949 in Großzschepa ; † November 7, 2012 ) was a German educator and politician ( CDU ). From 1990 to 1994 he was a member of the Saxon state parliament .

Live and act

After attending primary school in Großzschepa and secondary school in Thallwitz , Czok completed his basic vocational training in Canitz , which he completed in 1967 with a skilled worker qualification in Großzschepa. He then worked as an agricultural technician until 1970 and then as a driver in long-distance transport and from 1972 to 1979 in company transport. From 1979 to 1983, he trained as a home educator at the Institute for Home Educator Training. From 1986 to 1989 he was a teacher and head of the DBD educational facility , of which he had been a member since 1967, in Leipzig .

From 1980 to 1986, Czok belonged to the DBD district association in the Wurzen district . From 1979 to 1989 he was a member of the Böhlitz municipal council . In the year he took over the management of the district executive of the DBD in the Leipzig district and held this office until the merger with the CDU in September 1990. In the state elections in Saxony in 1990 , he initially missed entry into the Saxon state parliament, but moved on after the list applicant left Christfried Gebauer moved to the state parliament for this in October 1990. From this he left after an electoral term, as he did not run again in the state elections in 1994 .
