Karl Dreier

Karl Heinrich Dreier (born April 27, 1898 in Bückeburg ; † September 14, 1974 there ) was a German politician ( NSDAP ).

Life

After graduating from primary school and attending the secondary school in Bückeburg, Dreier took part in the First World War as a soldier from 1914 to 1918 . In 1919 he was released from the Reichswehr . He completed a commercial apprenticeship from 1919 to 1922 and then worked as a commercial clerk at various companies until 1932.

Dreier joined the NSDAP at the end of February 1926 (membership number 31.823). He became district treasurer and was NSDAP district leader in Schaumburg from 1931 to 1932, then from October 1, 1932 to May 1, 1938 and again from October 1944 to March 1945, district leader of the party in Schaumburg-Lippe (NSDAP- Gau Westfalen-Nord ). He was a member of the Schaumburg-Lippische Landtag from April to May 1933 and served as President of the Free State of Schaumburg-Lippe from May 25, 1933 to April 1945 . He was also a member of the Reichstag and the Reichsrat from November 12, 1933 . From April 20, 1944 to April 1945, Dreier was also government vice-president in Minden.

After the start of World War II , he made up in June 1940 with the rank of lieutenant military service in the army and was from November 1941 for two years on the staff of the Deputy Commanding Generals of XI. Army corps deployed in Hanover.

He was arrested on May 17, 1945 and then interned in the Staumühle internment camp until November 1, 1947 . His verdict court proceedings were set on February 25, 1949. After two further denazification proceedings , he was first classified in Group III and finally IV in 1950.
