Karl Erhard Junghans

Karl Erhard Junghans (born March 30, 1879 in Schramberg ; † January 7, 1968 in Stuttgart ) was an entrepreneur.

He attended a secondary school, served in the military in 1897/98, studied at the technical universities of Stuttgart and Berlin-Charlottenburg , graduated in 1903 as a graduate engineer in the field of technical chemistry and received his doctorate in 1904. Ing.

In 1905 he joined Norma-Compagnie GmbH, founded by Albert Hirth in Cannstatt the previous year as a partner and managing director (see Svenska Kullagerfabriken # SKF in Germany ). After a subsidiary was founded in New York in 1911, he worked there as a chemist. After the company formed an interest group with SFK in Gothenburg in 1914, he was the sole managing director of the company from 1917 to 1925. After expanding into SFK Norma AG , he joined the supervisory board of this company and a little later in that of the Vereinigte Kugellagerfabriken AG in Schweinfurt and Cannstatt.
