Karl Ernst Willibald Toussaint

Karl Ernst Willibald Toussaint (born May 1, 1836 in Lübben , † November 29, 1898 in Leipzig ) was a German judge .

Life

The son of a captain studied law in u. a. in Breslau and Heidelberg. He was Protestant. In 1858 he was sworn in to the Prussian sovereign. In 1867 he became a public prosecutor's assistant. In 1871 he was promoted to public prosecutor and transferred from Frankfurt an der Oder to Trebnitz . In 1879 he was appointed first public prosecutor. He was promoted to district court president in 1892. In the same year he came to the Reichsgericht . He was in the III. Criminal Senate active. He died in office.
