Karl Felder (born October 15, 1879 in Konstanz , † June 11, 1962 in Vielbrunn ) was a Hessian politician ( center ) and former member of the Landtag of the People's State of Hesse in the Weimar Republic .

family

Karl Felder was the son of the railway worker Karl Felder and his wife Anna nee Moog. He married Hermine nee Spöni on April 23, 1908.

education and profession

Karl Felder did an apprenticeship as a printer. From 1907 to 1914 he worked as a union secretary in Cologne. From 1914 to 1924 he was state secretary of the Christian trade unions in Hesse, then workers' secretary in Mainz.

politics

Karl Felder was a member of the district council for the center in the Mainz district. From 1921 to 1924 he was a member of the Hessian state parliament for the second electoral period. In the 3rd electoral term he moved up for Wilhelm Knoll in 1925 and left early in 1927. His successor in the state parliament was Johann Wesp .
