Karl Friedrich Gerwer
Karl Friedrich Gerwer (* 1805 ; † April 11, 1876 ) was a Swiss judge and colonel .
Gerwer was a member of the higher court of the canton of Bern and president of the jury court . In 1842 he became a lieutenant colonel and in 1847 a colonel. During the Sonderbund War , he commanded a brigade of the 3rd Division of the Federal Army . In 1851 he commanded the Bernese troops that intervened in the Jura .
