Karl Friedrich Paelike

Karl Friedrich Paelike (born October 12, 1736 , † December 27, 1783 in Helmstedt ) was a German lawyer and university professor .

Life

Karl Friedrich Paelike is said to have been born in Wismar or Lübeck . He began to study law at the University of Helmstedt in 1758 and received his doctorate in law in 1762 . In 1765 he became an adjunct of the law faculty , in 1766 he was associate professor and in 1768 he was full professor and assessor at the law faculty. In 1777 he became 2nd inspector of the Konviktorium ( student dormitory ).
