Albert Philipp Frick

Albert Philipp Frick (born April 24, 1733 ; different date April 28, 1733 in Esslingen near Stuttgart , † March 21, 1798 in Helmstedt ) was a German lawyer and university professor .

Life

Albert Philipp Frick studied law at the University of Tübingen , in 1751 at the University of Helmstedt and the University of Göttingen . After graduation, he undertook a long study tour and received his doctorate in 1756 under the chairmanship of Franz Dominic Häberlin at the University of Helmstedt for Doctor of Law .

He stayed in Helmstedt and held lectures at the university as a private lecturer until he was accepted there in 1761 as an associate professor and assessor in the law faculty. In 1763 he was appointed full professor.

He died as the first professor and senior at the law faculty.

Honors

Duke Karl I of Brunswick-Wolfenbüttel appointed him court counselor in 1779 .
