Franz Dominikus Häberlin

Franz Dominikus Häberlin (born January 31, 1720 in Grimmelfingen , † April 20, 1787 in Helmstedt ) was a German historian and publicist.

Häberlin studied in Göttingen , became a private lecturer in history at the University of Göttingen in 1742 , in 1746 as a professor of history at the University of Helmstedt , in 1751 as a professor of constitutional law and as an assessor at the Faculty of Law, in 1757 as a university librarian at the Helmstedt University library, and in 1771 as a secret councilor. In 1759 he was elected a foreign member of the Göttingen Academy of Sciences .
