Karl Friedrich Skrzeczka (born March 29, 1833 in Königsberg i. Pr. , † May 20, 1902 in Steglitz , Teltow district ) was a German doctor .

Life

Karl Skrzeczka studied at the Albertus University in Königsberg . He passed the doctoral examination in 1855. From 1861 to 1865 he worked as a district surgeon and private lecturer in forensic medicine in Königsberg. In 1865 he was appointed associate professor for state medicine at the Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität zu Berlin . From 1882 he was employed as a government and medical advisor at the Berlin police headquarters . In 1882 he was promoted to the secret medical councilor and in 1888 to the secret senior medical councilor in the Prussian Ministry of Spiritual, Educational and Medical Affairs .

In 1891 he became a full honorary professor at the Friedrich Wilhelms University in Berlin . In 1898 he retired for health reasons.
