Karl Friedrich Strobel

Karl Friedrich Strobel (born February 8, 1836 in Owen , † June 29, 1897 in Stuttgart ) was a Württemberg Oberamtmann.

Life

After graduating from high school in Stuttgart, Karl Friedrich Strobel began studying criminal sciences in Tübingen , which he had to interrupt for more than a year due to illness. During his military service he passed the first higher service exams in 1860 and the second in 1862. From 1863 to 1865 he was assistant at the Oberamt Ellwangen and actuarial administrator at the Oberamt Leonberg , where in 1865 he became senior actuary. From 1869 to 1870 he worked as a police commissioner and from 1870 to 1874 as the secretary of the city administration in Stuttgart.

From 1874 to 1882 he took up his first senior official position at Oberamt Vaihingen . From 1882 to 1885 he was Oberamtmann in Reutlingen and from 1885 to 1896 Government Councilor of the government of the Jagstkreis in Ellwangen. From 1890 to 1896 he was also chairman of the rural poor authority in the Jagstkreis. In 1896 and 1897 he was a member of the ministerial department for building construction in the Ministry of the Interior in Stuttgart and a member of the forestry department.
