Karl Gustaf Vilhelm Staaf (born April 6, 1881 in Stockholm , † February 15, 1953 in Motala ) was a Swedish athlete and tug of war .

Staaf took part in several athletics competitions at the Olympic Games in Paris in 1900 . He was fifth in the hammer throw and seventh in the pole vault . He also took part in the Olympic triple jump , but could not place. For a mixed team of Danish and Swedish athletes, he took part in the tug-of-war competition and was able to prevail against the French team and thus win gold.
