Karl Gustav von Rehekampff ( Russian : Карл Фадеевич Регекампф, * July 4, 1803 in Reval ; † December 30, 1882 July / January 11, 1883 greg. In Helsingfors ) was a German-Baltic nobleman . He was lieutenant general in the Imperial Russian army and commander of Vyborg . His career began in 1824; In 1853 he was promoted to major general and from 1854 to 1878 he was in command of Vyborg. In 1875 he was promoted to lieutenant general and was honorably discharged as general of the cavalry in the same year .

Origin and family

Karl Gustav v. R. came from the German-Baltic noble family Rehekampff , the former noble family "Riesenkampff called Rehekampff". His father was the lien owner of Karritz in Estonia Fabian von Rehekampff (1775 - after 1837), who was married to Beate Charlotte von Nasackin (1773–1810) from the Werpel family (Estonia). Karl Gustav v. R. married Wilhelmine von Rosen (1821–1857) from the house of Fehtenhof (Livonia) in 1848 . Her descendants were:
