Karl Haenlein

Karl August Haenlein (born May 28, 1837 in Augsburg , † July 23, 1896 in Munich ) was a German administrative lawyer.

Life

Haenlein was a son of the later Bavarian Ministerialrat August Haenlein in Munich and his wife Minna, née. Gombart from Augsburg. After attending the humanistic grammar school in Munich, he studied law in Munich and Göttingen . In Munich he became a member of the Corps Franconia , in Göttingen of the Bremensia there . In 1859 he passed the university examination in Munich. He then worked as a legal intern in Ansbach . After passing the state examination (1862), he found a job as a government advisor to the government of Middle Franconia in Ansbach. In 1867 he became a District Office Assessor in Amberg, in 1876 a Government Assessor and District School Advisor in the government of the Palatinate in Speyer . In 1884 he became a district administrator in Bergzabern , and in 1885 he was a councilor in the district government of Upper Franconia in Bayreuth. For health reasons he retired in October 1895, which he spent in Munich.

Haenlein was married to Luise Freiin von Seefried auf Buttenheim from 1867. A son fell in November 1914 as a battalion commander in Flanders.
