Karl Hans Rudolf von Broesigke
Karl Hans Rudolf von Broesigke (born June 17, 1809 in Berlin ; † August 15, 1877 there ) was a royal Prussian major general and most recently commander of the 70th Infantry Regiment.

His parents were Friedrich Rudolf von Broesigke (* April 4, 1769; † December 21, 1829) and his wife Henriette Luise Leopoldine von Delius (* July 9, 1772; † June 8, 1839). His father was major a. D. and most recently in the 20th Infantry Regiment.
Life
He came to Potsdam as a cadet in 1821 and came to Berlin as a cadet on April 22, 1823 . There he became a non-commissioned officer on August 3, 1826. On July 28, 1827, he came as a second lieutenant in the 13th Infantry Regiment . There he was appointed battalion adjutant in 1830 and regimental adjutant in 1833. Then he came on March 30, 1837 as an adjutant in the 14th Landwehr Brigade and was promoted there on July 23, 1840 to Premier-Lieutenant. On May 20, 1847 he was reassigned to the 13th Infantry Regiment as a captain and company commander. From there he came on June 15, 1858 as a major in the 36th Infantry Regiment, where he was commander of the Landwehr battalion. But on June 15, 1858, he became battalion commander in the 40th Infantry Regiment .
Promoted to lieutenant colonel on May 31, 1859, he was appointed commander of the mobile 30th Landwehr regiment on July 15, 1859. On May 8, 1860, he was commissioned to lead the 30th Combined Infantry Regiment, and on July 1, 1860, he was appointed commander of the 70th Infantry Regiment. On September 20, 1861, he was awarded the Order of the Red Eagle, 3rd class with ribbon . On October 18, 1861, he was promoted to colonel, and on December 8, 1861, he received the Cross of Honor 1st Class from Schwarzburg-Rudolstadt . He was put up for disposal on January 10, 1865 with a pension and the character of major general . He died unmarried on August 15, 1877 in Berlin.
