Karl Hartwig

Johann Christian Karl Hartwig (born January 9, 1881 in Mehlen ; † January 13, 1958 ibid) was a German farmer and politician (Waldeckscher Landeswahlverband, Landbund).

Hartwig was the son of the landowner Louis Hartwig and his wife Louise née Süring. He married Elisabeth Anna Wever on March 2, 1921 in Twiste. Hartwig lived as a farmer in Mehlen. From 1922 to 1925 (for the Waldeck State Electoral Association) and from 1925 to 1929 (for the Landbund) he was a member of the Waldeck State Representation .
